General Information

📋
Everyday guidelines that help students, parents and staff work together smoothly, from identity cards to health care and school trips.
📋
🛈
Identity Card
Students must wear their Identity Card during school hours and while travelling to and from school.
If the card is lost, or parents wish to change any information on it (such as a change of address), an application should be submitted to the class teacher.
🎂
Birthday and Gifts
Students are not allowed to wear casual dress on their birthdays.
Bringing birthday cakes or gifts for friends or teachers for any celebration is not permitted.
Students are not allowed to go directly from school to attend birthday celebrations of classmates or friends.
The school will not share the telephone number or address of any student for sending invitations.
🍽
Tiffin and School Canteen
Parents should pack lunch properly. Food should not be wrapped in newspapers, plastic bags or aluminium foil.
Pickles and sauces are not allowed. Junk food should be avoided; parents are encouraged to provide healthy food.
Students must carry their own lunch box. Sending lunch boxes during school hours is not permitted.
Bringing non-vegetarian food to school is strictly prohibited.
The school canteen provides nutritious food at reasonable prices, available only during recess or after school.
SPECTRA
Student Participation and Engagement Council for Teamwork, Responsibility and Achievement — the School Students' Council.
🏆
House System
The House System promotes teamwork, camaraderie, healthy competition, life skills, emotional intelligence and school spirit.
Inter-house competitions are organized in academics, arts, communication skills and sports.
The Student Council is headed by the Head Girl and Head Boy, assisted by members of SPECTRA.
Council members are selected on the basis of academic performance, leadership skills, integrity, responsibility and commitment to school values and traditions.
🏥
Medical Room
A fully equipped Medical Room with a qualified nurse ensures prompt medical care, first aid and health advice during school hours.
Students may visit the Medical Room during emergencies with written permission from the teacher, noted in the school diary.
Parents are informed in case of serious illness or emergency and may be requested to take their ward home if required.
🩺
Medical Check-up
An annual health check-up is conducted by a team of qualified medical experts to identify health issues and promote awareness of health and hygiene.
Parents should ensure their ward is present on the scheduled medical check-up day. Health reports are shared with parents.
The check-up is only a screening process, not a diagnostic procedure; parents should consult their family physician for accurate diagnosis and treatment when necessary.
💬
Counsellor and Special Educator
Qualified counsellors regularly interact with students, teachers and parents to provide counselling and guidance on academic, behavioural and personal issues.
Counsellors help students prepare academic plans, make career choices and address personal challenges; individual sessions are conducted whenever required.
A Special Educator assists children with special needs in integrating into regular classrooms and conducts remedial classes as required.
🚌
Educational Trips and Excursions
Trips and excursions to industries, historical monuments, planetariums, museums, book fairs, bird sanctuaries and science centres enhance classroom learning.
These trips help students become more independent and improve their social and practical learning.
Written parental consent is mandatory for participation.
As seats are limited, students are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
